Are You Dating A Superhero?

This is my last post on dating superheroes, I promise. If not, then I'll edit this sentence out because mah lyf mah rul3zzz.

In two different posts I imagined dating different superheroes (read them here and here). But what if you are dating a superhero and you don't know it? Don't worry, I'll guide you on finding it out. Because I know everything.

If you do discover that you are truly dating a superhero, don't be disappointed that he/she didn't tell you. Most times anonymity is a requirement in their job description. Be supportive and pretend you don't know.

Now that we have that out of our way, let's begin!

  • Does he take a lot of unexplained absences and make up lame excuses for them?
  • Is he breathtakingly handsome?
  • Is he fit and strong?
  • Is he either a billionaire or has a low paying job living in a tiny apartment?
  • Have you noticed that you have never seen him at the same time you saw your local vigilante/superhero? Seeing him few minutes earlier or later doesn't count, it has to be at the same time.
  • Have seen him being hit by thugs on the street but he doesn't hit back despite the fact that he is fit enough to do so? And next morning you read in the local newspaper that those thugs have been hospitalised?
  • Whether or not he shows it, does he value his moral values deeply?
  • Is he at times very cold and distant towards you and tries to breakup even though you are sure he still loves you?
  • Is he always standing up for what he believes is right and is ready to take one for the team?
  • Does he often get 'urgent' calls in the middle of dinner dates and take off citing work reasons?
  • Is he super efficient in whatever he does?
  • Does he follow his instincts and has no regard for rules?
  • Does he have zero sense of self preservation?
  • Is he always paying attention to news channels?

If you answered these questions with a 'yes', congratulations! You lucky bitch!

If you answered no, then....well at the end it doesn't really matter because everyone is a superhero in their own way.

Psst, it does matter if he indeed is a real superhero. ;)
